This week, Coda started having puppy playdates with some of our friends. He loves little Echo, the golden/aussie mix who is about 4 weeks older than him. Tomorrow, Coda goes back to the Vet for more shots. He's doing great on training too! He has a very solid recall, even outside while playing, and knows "sit" and "down". We're working on "roll over". He's such a fast learner, with great attention. He starts puppy 1 class at
Incredipaws this Tuesday! Already at 10 weeks old, Coda is FAST! I foresee an amazing agility career ahead of him. I'll be the one holding him back towards reaching his full performance potential!
Brighton also had an exciting week. He had another visit with
Dr. Dyce, the Orthopedic specialist at the OSU Vet Hospital. This time, he presented much worse -- much stiffer and having more difficulty walking -- than just a month ago. The good news is that Dr. Dyce no longer believes this is just a "growing pain" issue and that his symptoms indicate Myasthenia Gravis, a neuromuscular disorder. Sounds scary, but Patric and I are hopeful that we can finally get a diagnosis on his issues. We go back next week for test results.
